Initially inspired by the Taijitu theory, (+/-) is a video dance piece about dependent opposites within ones self. The work expands into two cycles, positive/negative that result into harmony. The symbolic figure of one male dancer exploring his duality projects in two large rectangle screens placed one next to the other. At the first two parts the performer tries to balance his self within positive and negative through constant transformation and interaction. The final result is the symbiosis of his dual self into a harmonious environment.
