The theme of this year’s Koumaria Residency was the archive, and we invited the participants to reconceive past projects, making use of our existing archival material. Much of day one was spent presenting the Koumaria archive to the residents, who immediately took inspiration from it, and began varied processes of transformation. The evening ended with a collective jam, which already contained archival material is new forms.
